Scenes from the Dayton Celtic Festival – Dayton Photographer Alex Sablan

The sky was partly cloudy, the heat and humidity had gone away, and I was in the area. The Dayton Celtic Festival was packed with people and made for a nice time to go people watch and do some street photography and capture some event stuff as well. I also have another post with pics from two performance at the festival. Scythian, a Washington, DC band that plays Celtic fusion, at least that’s what I call it, can be seen here. The other performance was the McGovern Ceili Dancers which can be seen here.

Earlier in the morning I had down a portrait session with a friend and her children at the Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark. So just being down the road, I thought I would hop in to the Dayton Celtic Festival down at Riverscape MetroPark. This is what I came up with.
